Immunohistochemical identification of PACAP Receptor 1 in mouse spinal cord dorsal horn.
mPAC1 (IHC-grade), PACAP Receptor 1 Antibody...
The mouse PAC1 antibody is directed against the distal end of the carboxyl-terminal tail of mouse and rat PACAP receptor 1. It can be used to detect total PAC1 receptors in Western blots independent of phosphorylation. The mouse PAC1...

The PACAP receptor 1 (PAC1) is the specific receptor for PACAP-27 and PACAP-38. PAC1 is coupled to Gs proteins. The PAC1 receptor may regulate the release of adrenocorticotropin, luteinizing hormone, growth hormone, prolactin, epinephrine, and catecholamine. In the spinal cord, PAC1 regulates the release of dynorphin. PAC1 activation causes smooth muscle relaxation and secretion in the gastrointestinal tract where it is expressed in myenteric neurons.
